Precision castingAlso known as lost-wax casting, it is a near-net-shape production process and currently the most advanced casting technology. Through precision casting, we can produce semi-finished or finished products with complex shapes, high dimensional accuracy, smooth surfaces, and close to the final shape of the parts, which can be used directly without processing or with minimal processing.
Main production process of precision casting
First, a wax model matching the product's size and shape is created. Then, layers of refractory material are applied to the wax model's surface. After drying, a shell mold with sufficient strength is obtained. The wax is then melted and drained, and molten steel is poured into it. After cooling, a steel product identical to the wax model is obtained. Compared to ordinary machining, precision casting minimizes machining and achieves a high degree of detail. For some extremely complex parts, precision casting is often the only manufacturing method.
Haijin Company Precision Casting Process Flow

Xinghua Haijin Stainless Steel Products Factory has been engaged in precision casting since 1998. We have overcome numerous technical challenges in surface quality, heat treatment, mechanical properties, and product precision, ensuring our castings maintain a leading position in quality. Currently, we have a full silica sol stainless steel precision casting processing capacity of 500 tons/year, with single-piece weights ranging from 5 grams to 30 kilograms, and we offer diverse surface treatment options. Our main materials are 304 and 316 stainless steel, but we can also produce various other materials according to customer needs, such as carbon steel, 2205 duplex steel, 17-4 high-strength steel, and 2520 high-temperature resistant steel. Precision casting has a relatively long production cycle due to its complex processes and the need for the mold shell to dry thoroughly. Generally speaking, from the time we receive a customer's order, it takes about 4-5 days to make the mold for workpieces with simple shapes, about 7 days for prototyping, and about 10-20 days for mass production (for small batches).
